A good robot vacuum does one boring job so you do not have to: it picks up the crumbs, dust, and pet hair that collect every day, on a schedule, while you are at work or asleep. The newest ones also mop, wash their own mop pads, and empty their dust bins into a dock, so a week can go by without you touching the thing.
We compared six robot vacuums that are selling well on Amazon right now, from a $200 self-emptying Roomba to a $900 Roborock slim enough to slide under many sofas. Specs come from manufacturers and current Amazon listings; prices move almost daily, so treat them as mid-October 2026 snapshots. All six sat on Amazon’s Robotic Vacuums Best Sellers list when we checked: the Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE) at No. 1, the Roborock Qrevo S Pro at No. 2, the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 at No. 7, the eufy E25 at No. 10, the iRobot Roomba 104 2in1 at No. 14, and the Roborock Saros 10R at No. 15.
How robot vacuums differ
Vacuum-only robots (the Shark here) just vacuum. They are cheaper and simpler, and most homes with lots of carpet do not need more. Vacuum-and-mop combos add a wet pad or roller for hard floors. Cheap combos drag a damp microfiber pad; better ones spin two pads or run a roller under pressure, and lift the mop when they reach a rug.
The dock matters as much as the robot. A self-empty dock sucks the dust out of the robot into a bag or bin that lasts weeks. An all-in-one dock (Roborock, Dreame, and eufy call theirs a multifunctional dock or station) also washes the mop, dries it with warm air, and refills the robot’s water tank. That is what turns mopping from a chore into something that just happens.
Two more numbers show up on every box. Suction in pascals (Pa) is a manufacturer claim, and brands measure it differently, so compare it within a brand rather than across brands. Navigation is the bigger deal: every pick here uses LiDAR, a spinning or solid-state laser that maps your rooms so the robot cleans in rows and you can draw no-go zones in the app.

How we chose
Navigation and maintenance came first. We only picked robots with LiDAR mapping and a self-emptying dock, because those two features decide whether you actually keep using one after the first month.
Then mopping and edges. We looked at how each robot mops (pad, spinning pads, or roller), whether it keeps rugs dry, and whether it can reach baseboards and corners with an extending brush or mop.
And we looked at what people actually buy. Best Sellers rank, monthly purchase counts, and review volume on Amazon all factored in. Robot vacuums are also a strong holiday gift: a clear before-and-after, and a price range from about $200 to $900.
Quick pick guide
Best overall: Roborock Qrevo S Pro: 18,500 Pa suction, spinning mops that lift, and a dock that empties, refills, and hot-washes the mops for about $550; it sells more than any other mop combo on Amazon right now.
Best value vacuum: Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE): LiDAR mapping, Matrix Clean grid passes, and a bagless 60-day self-empty base for about $270; Amazon’s No. 1 robot vacuum.
Best budget vacuum and mop: iRobot Roomba 104 2in1: LiDAR, carpet-avoiding mopping, and a 75-day AutoEmpty dock for about $200.
Best for corners and edges: Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2: 25,000 Pa suction with a side brush and mop that extend into corners, for about $500.
Best roller mop: eufy E25: a HydroJet roller that rinses itself as it mops, plus an all-in-one station, for about $630.
Best premium pick: Roborock Saros 10R: a 3.14-inch-tall body that slips under furniture, 3D navigation, and a 10-in-1 dock for about $900.
Comparison at a glance
| Model | Suction | Mop | Dock | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Roborock Qrevo S Pro | 18,500 Pa | Spinning pads | Empty, wash, dry, refill | ~$550 |
| Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE) | Not stated | None | Bagless empty | ~$270 |
| iRobot Roomba 104 2in1 | Not stated | Microfiber pad | Bagged empty | ~$200 |
| Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 | 25,000 Pa | Spinning pads | Empty, wash, dry | ~$500 |
| eufy E25 | 20,000 Pa | Roller | Empty, wash, dry, refill | ~$630 |
| Roborock Saros 10R | 22,000 Pa | Spinning pads | Empty, wash, dry, refill | ~$900 |
Suction figures are manufacturer or Amazon listing claims; Shark and iRobot do not publish a pascal rating. “Refill” means the dock tops up the robot’s water from its own clean-water tank. All six use LiDAR mapping. Prices are approximate Amazon prices in mid-October 2026.
Roborock Qrevo S Pro: best robot vacuum overall

The Roborock Qrevo S Pro is the sweet spot of the 2026 lineup: most of what a $1,000 robot does for a little over half the price. Roborock’s Qrevo S Pro page lists 18,500 Pa HyperForce suction, LiDAR navigation, Reactive Tech obstacle avoidance, an anti-tangle brush, and two spinning mops that lift (about 10 mm, per the listing) when the robot reaches carpet. The multifunctional dock empties the dust bin, refills the robot’s water tank, washes the mops in water heated to 167°F, and dries them with hot air so they do not sour. Amazon lists a battery life of up to 180 minutes.
Amazon has it around $550 (list $699.99) with 4.1 stars across about 6,600 ratings, and more than 10,000 bought in the past month. It was No. 2 on the Robotic Vacuums best-sellers list when we checked, right behind a vacuum-only Shark, which makes it the best-selling vacuum-and-mop robot on the list.
Trade-offs: spinning pads are good at daily wiping but will not scrub dried stains like a roller, and the side brush does not extend into corners the way the Dreame’s does. For most homes with a mix of hard floors and rugs, it is the robot to buy.

Roborock Qrevo S Pro
18,500 Pa suction, LiDAR, liftable spinning mops, and a dock that empties, refills, hot-washes, and dries: the best all-around robot for about $550.
Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE): best value vacuum

The Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE) is Amazon’s best-selling robot vacuum for a simple reason: it does the vacuuming part well and costs about $270. Per SharkNinja’s AV2511AE page and the listing, it maps your home with 360° LiDAR, cleans in a Matrix Clean grid that takes multiple passes over messes, and uses a self-cleaning brushroll to fight hair wrap. The bagless self-empty base holds up to 60 days of debris, so there are no bags to buy. Runtime is up to 90 minutes, and it recharges and resumes if it needs to.
Amazon lists it at $269.99 (list $599) with 4.0 stars across more than 41,000 ratings and over 10,000 bought in the past month. It was No. 1 in Robotic Vacuums when we checked. Amazon’s AI review summary praises its pet-hair pickup and quiet running but flags reliability and durability complaints, so register the one-year warranty when it arrives.
Trade-offs: no mopping at all, and the bagless bin is a little dustier to empty than a sealed bag. If your floors are mostly carpet or you just want dust and pet hair gone for under $300, this is the pick.

Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE)
360° LiDAR, Matrix Clean grid passes, self-cleaning brushroll, and a bagless 60-day self-empty base: Amazon’s No. 1 robot vacuum for about $270.
iRobot Roomba 104 2in1: best budget vacuum and mop

The iRobot Roomba 104 2in1 is the cheapest way to get LiDAR mapping, mopping, and a self-emptying dock from a big brand. It is an Amazon exclusive; iRobot’s product page calls it the Roomba 104 Combo robot + AutoEmpty dock. The dock’s bag holds up to 75 days of debris and traps 99% of allergens as small as 0.7 microns. ClearView LiDAR maps up to three floors and cleans in neat rows; you can run vacuum only, mop only, or both at once, and Carpet Detect keeps it from mopping your rugs.
The mop is a microfiber pad fed by a small pump, with three liquid levels and a SmartScrub mode iRobot says scrubs twice as deep. There are four suction levels, a 3,000 mAh battery, and the robot weighs about 6.5 pounds. Amazon lists it around $200 with 4.1 stars across more than 13,000 ratings and over 1,000 bought in the past month.
Trade-offs: the pad wipes rather than scrubs, the dock does not wash it, and you refill the robot’s small tank by hand. For a first robot, a rental, or a second floor, that is a fair deal at this price.

iRobot Roomba 104 2in1
ClearView LiDAR, vacuum and mop modes with carpet detection, and a 75-day AutoEmpty dock: a big-brand self-emptying combo for about $200.
Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2: best for corners and edges

The Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 is the most suction for the money here and the best at edges. Dreame’s L40 Ultra Gen 2 page and the listing cite 25,000 Pa suction with five levels, a side brush and mop that extend to reach corners and under furniture, dual rotary mops that lift 10.5 mm, and four carpet modes (avoid, boost, intensive, and mop lift). It maps with LiDAR and steers around obstacles like shoes with what Dreame calls Smart Pathfinder and 3DAdapt. The 5,200 mAh battery is rated for up to 231 minutes and about 1,679 square feet in quiet mode.
The dock empties into a 3.2-liter bag, washes the mops, and dries them with hot air. An automatic detergent dispenser module is sold separately. Amazon lists it around $500 (list $749.99) with 4.4 stars across about 700 ratings and thousands bought in the past month; it was No. 7 on the best-sellers list when we checked.
Trade-offs: a much smaller review pool than the Roborock or Shark, and only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi support. If baseboards and table legs are where your current robot leaves dust lines, this is the fix.

Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2
25,000 Pa suction, extendable side brush and mop, 10.5 mm mop lift, and a self-empty, mop-washing dock: the corner specialist for about $500.
eufy E25: best roller mop

The eufy E25 mops differently from the rest. Instead of spinning pads, it runs a roller mop that its HydroJet system rinses with clean water twice per second, so it does not smear dirty water across the kitchen. Per eufy’s E25 page and the listing, it pairs 20,000 Pa suction with DuoSpiral anti-tangle brushes and a CornerRover arm that extends to scrub baseboards and furniture legs. The mop lifts 10.8 mm for carpet, the robot climbs 21 mm thresholds, and it remembers up to five floor plans.
The all-in-one station empties the dust bin, washes the roller, dries it with hot air, and refills the robot. Runtime is up to 125 minutes vacuuming and mopping in standard mode. Amazon lists it around $630 (list $999.99) with 4.4 stars across more than 54,000 ratings and over 3,000 bought in the past month.
Trade-offs: the station is large and heavy (the listing puts the item weight at about 37 pounds), and it costs more than the Roborock for similar dock features. Choose it if sticky kitchen floors are the main job.

eufy E25
20,000 Pa suction, a self-rinsing HydroJet roller mop, CornerRover edge arm, and an all-in-one station: the best mopper here for about $630.
Roborock Saros 10R: best premium robot vacuum

The Roborock Saros 10R is the one to buy if your furniture sits low. Roborock’s Saros 10R page calls it the thinnest Roborock ever at 3.14 inches (79.8 mm) tall, thanks to the StarSight Autonomous System 2.0: a solid-state 3D time-of-flight sensor plus an RGB camera in place of the usual LiDAR turret. Roborock says it recognizes 108 types of objects and avoids items as small as about 0.8 inch. The Amazon listing quotes 22,000 Pa suction. An AdaptiLift chassis raises the robot to cross thresholds up to 1.57 inches, and FlexiArm extends the side brush and mop into corners.
The 10-in-1 Dock 4.0 empties dust for up to 70 days, washes the mops in water heated up to 176°F, dries them with 131°F air, dispenses detergent, refills with warm water, and can drop the mops off before vacuum-only runs. Amazon lists it around $900 (list $1,599.99) with 4.0 stars across about 5,100 ratings and more than 2,000 bought in the past month.
Trade-offs: it is the most expensive pick, and the Qrevo S Pro covers most of the same dock jobs for $350 less. Pay up for the slim body, smarter obstacle avoidance, and threshold climbing.

Roborock Saros 10R
3.14-inch slim body, StarSight 3D navigation, AdaptiLift chassis, FlexiArm edges, and a 10-in-1 dock: the premium pick for about $900.
Tips for getting the most out of a robot vacuum
Clear the floor before the first map. Pick up cords, socks, and phone chargers, open interior doors, and let the robot finish a full mapping run. A clean first map means fewer stuck robots later.
Give the dock room to breathe. Put it on a hard floor against a wall with a foot or two of clear space on each side, near the middle of the area it cleans, and on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; most of these robots do not support 5 GHz.
Use no-go zones and room schedules. Block off pet bowls and shaggy rugs in the app, and schedule kitchens more often than bedrooms.
Do five minutes of maintenance a week. Pull hair off the brush ends, empty or wipe the dirty-water tank on mopping docks, and replace filters, bags, and side brushes on the schedule the app suggests.
Bottom line
For most homes, the Roborock Qrevo S Pro is the best robot vacuum: strong suction, liftable spinning mops, and a dock that handles emptying, refilling, and hot-water mop washing for about $550. Mostly carpet and want to spend less? The Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE) is Amazon’s top seller for good reason. On a tight budget, the iRobot Roomba 104 2in1 still brings LiDAR, mopping, and a 75-day self-empty dock for about $200. Dust lines along the baseboards? Get the Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2. Sticky kitchen floors? The eufy E25 and its self-rinsing roller are the answer. And if your sofas sit low and the budget is open, the Roborock Saros 10R is the premium robot to buy.
Whichever you pick, the first evening you come home to clean floors without lifting a finger is the moment it pays for itself.
